This time, the “Taste of Life” game was special for us. For the first time, it was held in a team format and was dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the NGO “Space for Positive Change.”
Gathered around one table were resource group facilitators, dialogue facilitators, and representatives of women’s initiative groups — people united by shared projects, values, ideas, and a desire to create positive change in our communities.
For several hours, we were in no hurry to go anywhere. We allowed ourselves to pause, look back on the path we’ve walked, recall our own resources, and feel the support of those around us. In a warm atmosphere, over a cup of tea and treats, sincere conversations, smiles, memories of shared initiatives, and moments of genuine closeness emerged.
The team format opened up new dimensions for the game. Participants not only explored their own sources of strength but also saw how many resources exist within our community. Support, trust, humor, experience, and a willingness to lend a shoulder proved to be no less important than personal inner strengths.
It was particularly symbolic to celebrate the organization’s birthday in this way. After all, over the past four years, the NGO “Space for Positive Change” has become more than just a team or a civic organization. It has become a space for meetings, partnerships, development, mutual support, and bold ideas that are gradually transforming into real changes in the lives of people and communities.
“The Taste of Life” once again reminded us of a simple yet very important truth: resilience doesn’t come solely from within. It thrives in warm relationships, shared values, sincere conversations, and the people walking alongside us. And that is precisely why this gathering left a special aftertaste — one of gratitude for the journey we’ve shared, joy from the gathering itself, and faith in the new positive changes that lie ahead.
