In mid-March, a presentation of the results of monitoring the implementation of the regional action plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women. Peace. Security” in 2024 for representatives of the Dnipropetrovsk region 1325 Coalition.
They discussed in detail the achievements of the regional Coalition in 2024, in particular, strengthening its role in the region, expanding the range of participants and topics of activity. Particular attention was paid to the institutional strengthening of the Coalition and advocacy achievements, implementation of charitable and humanitarian initiatives, preparation for post-war recovery, strengthening of media presence and information campaigns.
The event was held within the framework of the project “Women. Peace. Security: From Local to Global”, implemented by the Ukrainian Women’s Fund with the support of the Government of Canada through Global Affairs, Trade and Development Canada.
