The time leading up to the New Year holidays is about taking a break from the constant hustle and bustle, as well as an opportunity to look back and reflect on the journey we’ve taken together. For the “Dnipropetrovsk Region 1325” Coalition, this month has been a time for quiet reflection, gratitude, and hope.

At the end of December, we gathered together—representatives of civic organizations from Dnipropetrovsk Region—to sum up another challenging but extremely important year. We discussed training and monitoring, the implementation of the regional Action Plan 1325, our participation in developing the National Action Plan for 2026–2030, the communication campaign, and the dozens of daily steps that aren’t always immediately visible but hold deep meaning.

This year has been difficult. It required resilience, inner strength, and mutual support. And it is precisely thanks to this support, trust, and unity that we have managed to achieve tangible results.

I would like to sincerely thank each and every colleague and partner for your dedication, professionalism, and compassion. For the time, energy, and heart you have poured into our shared endeavor. For your willingness to be there for one another, to listen and support each other, even in the most challenging moments.

We are moving forward—with warmth in our hearts, new ideas, and faith that our joint work matters.

May 2026 bring more opportunities to advance the “Women. Peace. Security” agenda, more space for cooperation, and more light on our path!
