Monitoring of the implementation of the 2025 regional action plan by the “Dnipropetrovsk Region 1325” Coalition revealed significant progress in advancing the “Women, Peace, and Security” agenda at the regional level.
Throughout the year, cross-sectoral cooperation was strengthened, the participation of civil society organizations in policy formulation and implementation was expanded, and educational, awareness-raising, and advocacy activities were intensified.
Particular emphasis was placed on building community capacity, developing women’s leadership, supporting those affected by the war, and strengthening mechanisms to protect women’s rights.
The results achieved confirmed the importance of the coalition’s systematic work and its tangible impact on recovery, resilience, and security processes in the region.
In 2026, special attention will be given to psychosocial support for women, internally displaced persons, families of military personnel and veterans, as well as the development of women’s peacebuilding initiatives.
The coalition plans to expand partnerships with government agencies, international organizations, and civil society groups to pool resources, strengthen advocacy, and implement sustainable solutions aimed at rebuilding communities, building trust, and shaping a safe, inclusive, and peaceful future for Ukraine, as well as fostering mutual understanding and cooperation amid complex societal transformations.
